Looking for something fun yet educational for your kids after school?

Our Children's After School Sewing Club is perfect for ages 8-17. Students will learn fundamental sewing skills, and build upon existing skills, using our proven sewing curriculum of approved projects! Creating an array of projects such as tote bags, appliqued cushions, pencil cases and fashion garments! This club is great for any child who is practical and creative, it is also perfect for learning a little more focus and relaxation. After School Sewing clubs are on a 'drop and go' basis, however we politely request children are collected promptly at the end of class.

Wednesdays - 4pm-5.15 (KS4) and 5.15-6.30pm (KS4 & 5)

Fridays - 4pm-5.15pm (KS2 ) and 5.15pm-6.30pm (KS3 & 4)

*KS2 - Ages 8 - 11 (Years 3 - 6) - Please note our club entrance start at age 8

*KS3 - Ages 11-14 (Years 7, 8 & 9) - KS4 - Ages 14-16(Years 10 & 11) - KS5 (Year 12 & 13)

IMPORTANT: Please contact us before enrolling if your child has sewing experience from outside The Sew In Group. While they don't need to be proficient, they must have experience winding a bobbin, threading a machine and sewing. You can register for a Children's Sewing Machine 101 and after school class at the same time.

Once made, a booking cannot be transferred to an alternative date. If for any reason you are unable to attend please feel free to send a substitute. If you book a workshop for several days duration please make sure you can attend all days. Please check the dates carefully prior to booking.

All workshops/courses must be paid for in full prior to the workshop start date. Payment can be made by PayPal or credit/debit card. By booking online you are acknowledging that you have read and accept the terms and conditions. Once a booking has been made, you will receive a confirmation email and information about any materials or equipment required.

Cancellations by you: Refunds will only be given under exceptional circumstances and will be considered on an individual basis.

Cancellations by us: In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a workshop/course you will be given at least 24 hours notice and offered a transfer to another date or receive a full refund. We will not be held liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur in the event of cancellation by us
After School Sewing Club runs during the school term only, with 36 hours of creative sewing tuition delivered across the academic year (three 12-week terms). To make things simple and budget-friendly for families, we’ve spread the total cost evenly across 12 months.

This model ensures your child’s space is secured year-round, avoids seasonal billing changes, and helps us keep class sizes small and consistent.

If you’d like to cancel your place at any time, we just ask for one month’s notice.
