Rediscover the joy of making with our creative and mindful Build-A-Bear Sewing Workshop.
This workshop is ideal for adults with some basic sewing experience who are ready to explore soft-toy construction in more depth. You will need to have some prior sewing experience before joining in.
You’ll be working from a full sewing pattern. During the session, you’ll sew and assemble your soft toy using clear step-by-step guidance, with the freedom to personalise details and features to suit your style. Fabric options include choosing from our selection of remnant fabrics or bringing along your own materials if you’d like something more personal. It’s a relaxed, creative workshop that builds confidence and technique, while giving you the satisfaction of making a beautifully finished companion to keep or gift.
LEVEL: 2 – Beginner
This workshop is suitable for learners who are familiar with how to set up a sewing machine, have created a few simple projects and would like to learn new techniques It’s not suitable for complete beginners.

✂️ MATERIALS TO BRING
If you’d like to bring your own fabrics, a mix of remnants or a pack of Fat Quarters will be suitable.
Alternatively we have a range of offcut fabrics to work with as well as materials that can be purchased from our reuse hub and shop.
Scissors, pins, and measuring tools are available to use in the studio, though you are welcome to bring your own sewing kit.
If you’d prefer to bring your own sewing machine, please let us know your make and model in advance, and bring your user manual and any adapters required.

Once made, a booking cannot be transferred to an alternative date. If for any reason you are unable to attend please feel free to send a substitute. If you book a workshop for several days duration please make sure you can attend all days. Please check the dates carefully prior to booking.
All workshops/courses must be paid for in full prior to the workshop start date. Payment can be made by PayPal or credit/debit card. By booking online you are acknowledging that you have read and accept the terms and conditions. Once a booking has been made, you will receive a confirmation email and information about any materials or equipment required.Cancellations by you: Refunds will only be given under exceptional circumstances and will be considered on an individual basis.
Cancellations by us: In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a workshop/course you will be given at least 24 hours notice and offered a transfer to another date or receive a full refund.
