Join us for this practical one-day workshop designed to demystify the overlocker and help you gain the confidence to use this fantastic machine independently. Whether you've recently purchased an overlocker, inherited one, or have always wondered what all those threads do, this course is the perfect place to start.
Throughout the workshop, you'll learn the essential skills needed to set up, thread, adjust and sew with an overlocker while creating a pair of comfortable jersey boxer shorts or knickers to take home.
During this workshop you will learn:

⚙️ Understanding tensions, loopers and differential feed
✂️ Troubleshooting common problems
👕 Working with stretch and jersey fabrics
📏 Cutting and preparing a simple sewing pattern

Your Project
Using your new skills, you'll create a beginner-friendly stretch garment, choosing from either:
Jersey Boxer Shorts or Comfortable Everyday Knickers
By the end of the workshop, you'll leave with a finished garment, a better understanding of your machine, and the confidence to incorporate overlocking into your future sewing projects.

Once made, a booking cannot be transferred to an alternative date. If for any reason you are unable to attend please feel free to send a substitute. If you book a workshop for several days duration please make sure you can attend all days. Please check the dates carefully prior to booking.
