The Sew In Group is a creative community built around sewing, textiles and making. We bring people together to learn new skills, work on creative projects and enjoy time with others who share a love of making.

From sewing sessions and textile workshops to social craft gatherings, youth activities and creative programmes, we offer opportunities for people of all ages and experience levels. Whether you're completely new to sewing, an experienced maker or simply looking for some creative time and good company, you're welcome here.

We're passionate about creating relaxed, friendly spaces where people can be themselves, try something new and enjoy the benefits of being creative with others. Alongside our regular paid activities, we also deliver community and grant-funded programmes that provide free or subsidised opportunities for those who may otherwise face barriers to taking part.
